Our passionate team is always on the lookout for confident and energetic coaches to deliver a world-class experience for all members.
What We’ll Need From You:
1. A passion for training yourself and others in the following areas:
Strength Training/ Weightlifting
Functional Fitness/CrossFit
Gymnastics/Calisthenics
2. A Certificate III & IV in Fitness is a minimum requirement as we prioritise being coachable over having degrees. However any of the following qualifications shows us a strong foundation of knowledge to build from:
Strength & Conditioning or High Performance Sport
Exercise Science
Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
3. The personal attributes that are essential for you and our members to succeed at Performance Playground:
Practice what you preach - Remember you are an ambassador for Performance Playground.
Clear and confident communication skills (in small and large groups).
Growth mindset - You take ownership of what you can control, strive to improve and remain open-minded to new perspectives.
You have pride in your presentation, love a bit of banter and genuinely care about helping others.
What You’ll Get From Us:
1. Develop the high-level coaching skills to help people of all abilities make incredible progress with Gymnastics, Weightlifting and Functional Fitness.
2. Develop the leadership skills to captivate your audience so they can make lifelong change.
3. Build a progressive coaching schedule to ensure you grow with us at Performance Playground. This includes a mixture of:
Consistent weekly hours for Group Training.
Flexible coaching hours for Personal Training, Exercise Physiology and/ or Physiotherapy appointments based on your expertise and availability.
4. Access the full membership benefits at Performance Playground, including:
Unlimited Group Training - our members love it when the coaches train with them.
Open Gym Access - train outside of class times.
Exclusive workshops and masterclass events - you’ll even get an opportunity to run some.
